Shiv mandir is known as mahadev mandir.it is situated in arawali hills and nearby a jhir (water spring)passes.as per myth it was built by pandawas but now it is managed by shiv mandir committee,numbers of builgings have been constructed in violation of forest and pollutions rules.the natural coures of jhirna is diverted.the tree or forest has been cut down and several acres of hill land has been occupied in name of goshala.annual fare on shiv ratri is held here erlier muslims also used to come in this fare.this mandir was protected by meos in olden times.even akbar also visited this place alonwith jodhabai.akbar built a small mosque just near entrance of hill.
